ReceiptaGo may collect and store information that you create or provide directly, including:

• Receipt images
• Recognized receipt text
• Merchant names, addresses, dates, totals, taxes, discounts, tips, payment details, and item lines
• Stores, goods types, goods categories, notes, and custom scan rules
• Feedback or support messages you send to us

2. Local Storage

Receipt data you create in the app may be stored locally on your device using the app's local database. This allows you to view, edit, and organize receipts directly inside the app.

3. iCloud Sync

When available and enabled, ReceiptaGo may sync your app data using Apple's iCloud services through your Apple account. iCloud processing and storage are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies.

4. AI and OCR Processing

When you use AI receipt scanning features, receipt images and recognized text may be processed by selected AI or OCR services in order to generate structured receipt results. Depending on the feature and device capability, processing may happen through third-party services or on-device models.

This processing may include:

• Receipt image analysis
• OCR text extraction and interpretation
• Structured field generation such as merchant, totals, categories, and line items
• Custom scan instructions or rescan prompts you provide

5. Device and App Preferences

We may store local settings and preferences needed to operate the app and improve your experience, such as your selected currency, AI model preference, and saved scan rules.

6. Diagnostics and Technical Data

We may collect limited diagnostic or technical information to help maintain app stability, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance. This may include app version, device type, operating system version, crash data, and usage context associated with app errors.

7. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate ReceiptaGo
• Process receipt scans and generate structured outputs
• Store and sync your receipt library
• Support editing, organization, filtering, and insights
• Maintain security, reliability, and performance
• Respond to support requests and user feedback

8. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only as needed with service providers and platform providers that help us operate the app, such as AI processing providers, cloud services, analytics providers, or crash reporting tools, and only for legitimate operational purposes.

9. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, unless you delete it earlier. Data stored locally or in iCloud may remain until removed by you or by normal platform retention behavior.

10. Your Controls

You can edit or delete receipts and related records inside the app. You may also use in-app controls such as erase or deletion features to remove stored content. If iCloud sync is enabled, removal may also propagate through synced devices and storage.

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of storage, transmission, or processing is completely secure. You should also protect access to your device and accounts.

12. Children's Privacy

ReceiptaGo is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

13. International Processing

If third-party AI, cloud, or infrastructure providers are used, your data may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and provider practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of ReceiptaGo after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
