These Terms of Use govern your use of the ReceiptaGo mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using ReceiptaGo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Use of the App

ReceiptaGo is a receipt management app that helps users scan, organize, review, and edit receipt information. You may use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use ReceiptaGo. If you are using the app on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Your Content

You are responsible for the receipts, images, text, notes, categories, and other content you create, import, upload, or store through the app. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us the limited rights necessary to operate and improve the service.

4. AI Scanning and OCR Results

ReceiptaGo uses OCR and AI-powered processing to extract structured information from receipt images and recognized text. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or ambiguous. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming important totals, merchant names, dates, taxes, discounts, tips, item details, and categories before relying on them.

5. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

ReceiptaGo is provided for organizational and informational purposes only. The app does not provide accounting, tax, legal, audit, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making tax, accounting, or business decisions based on app data.

6. Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of ReceiptaGo at any time. Features, scanning behavior, supported AI models, and data handling may change as the app evolves.

7. Third-Party Services

Some features may rely on third-party services, including AI or OCR providers, Apple services such as iCloud, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, or infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Data Sync and Device Services

ReceiptaGo may use Apple platform services such as iCloud when available and enabled. The availability and performance of sync features depend on third-party systems outside our control.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the service except where legally permitted, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

10. Intellectual Property

ReceiptaGo, including its software, branding, design, and related materials, is owned by its provider and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the app or its underlying technology.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

ReceiptaGo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that scans, extracted data, sync behavior, or app availability will always be error free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, business, savings, or goodwill arising from your use of ReceiptaGo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the app, users, or our rights. You may stop using ReceiptaGo at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your operating jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of ReceiptaGo after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Apple Standard EULA

If ReceiptaGo is distributed through Apple's App Store, your use of the app may also be subject to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable.
